摘要：In this talk, we will introduce some important and fundamental topics in global analysis on Finsler manifolds and discuss the related properties and the relationships in them. In particular, we will introduce some important applications of improved Bochner inequality on Finsler manifolds

程新躍，男，重慶人，數學科學學院二級教授、數學研究所所長，博士生導師；匈牙利國立德布勒森大學(University of Debrecen)博士；重慶市學術技術帶頭人；美國《Mathematical Reviews（數學評論）》評論員；《InternationalJournalof Mathematics》《Israel Journal of Mathematics》《Results in Mathematics》《SCIENCE CHINA Mathematics》等三十余種國際著名學術刊物審稿人；國家自然科學基金委員會通訊評審專家，重慶市普通高校教師自然科學學科高級職務評審委員會委員。
1982年2月至1995年2月在重慶師范高等專科學校（現重慶文理學院）任教，歷任教務處副處長、高教研究所副所長，1991年12月晉升為副教授。1995年2月至2017年11月在重慶理工大學任教，1997年11月晉升為教授，歷任重慶理工大學基礎科學系副主任、永利集團3044am官方入口院長、數學與統計學院院長，2009年分別被上海大學、西南大學增列為博士生導師。2017年11月在重慶師范大學數學科學學院任教。
主要研究方向包括黎曼-芬斯勒幾何、流形上的分析、信息幾何學。已在包括《Journal of LondonMathematical Society》,《Israel Journal of Mathematics》，《Annalsof Global Analysis and Geometry》，《Journal ofMathematical Analysis and Applications》，等重要國際學術刊物在內的學術期刊上發表論文80余篇；與著名美籍華人數學家沈忠民合著的學術專著《Finsler Geometry--An Approach via Randers Spaces》由德國Springer出版社與科學出版社聯合出版。先后應邀在50余次重要國際學術會議上作大會邀請報告或大會報告。
歷任重慶市數學會副理事長，重慶市第一、二屆政協委員，重慶市第三、四屆人大常委會委員，重慶市第四屆人大常委會代表資格審查委員會委員。
